Privacy Policy

ToolSocket ("we") operates toolsocket.top, an API and MCP gateway that lets AI agents call third-party data tools on a pay-per-call basis. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google or GitHub — your name, profile picture and the provider's account ID. We request only the openid, email and profile scopes from Google, and read:user and user:email from GitHub. We never receive your passwords.
• Billing data. Top-up amounts, balance and a ledger of charges and refunds. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
• Usage data. Which tools you call, inputs and timestamps, cost and result status, plus IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Cookies. One strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie that protects the sign-in flow. No advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To sign you in, run the tools you request, bill your balance, prevent abuse, and contact you about your account. We do not sell personal data and do not use Google user data for advertising.

Who we share it with

• Upstream data providers receive the tool inputs you submit, as needed to fulfil the call.
• Stripe (payments) and Resend (sign-in emails) process data on our behalf.
• Authorities, where required by law.

Google user data

ToolSocket's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use it only to create and identify your account.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and ledger records while your account is active and as required for accounting. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing us; API keys can be revoked instantly from the console.

Security

Traffic is encrypted with TLS. API keys and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.
